Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm that entry procedures, badge requirements, and delivery protocols are followed in accordance with site expectations.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, while providing a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Access control and alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Experience with access control and alarm panels.
• Comfortable using computers or tablets.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
