As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Advance, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

- DayTime: Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Maintain a visible presence, assist with directional guidance, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and local officials.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
