Security Officer Unarmed Patrol - Late Shift Hours

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Chaska, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
