About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while working collaboratively with site personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.28 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Day shift: Monday 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM, Wednesday 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM, Thursday 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM, Friday 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM.
