Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft-related activity, and report concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support retail location operations by assisting with access control, opening and closing activities, and directing customers and/or vendors as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
