Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Seffner, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations through routine patrols, professionalism, and quick response, while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document routine observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in accordance with site expectations.
• Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by following post orders, reporting maintenance or operational issues, and assisting with security-related requests as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
