About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution in Charlotte, NC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while reporting observations and responding to security-related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
