Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention

This full‑time, unarmed patrol position is located in Philadelphia, PA, serving educational and other client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other campus community members by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assigned location.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and campus representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state and/or local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

$19.75 per hour

Schedule

Daytime: Wednesday 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Thursday 07:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Friday 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM
