Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Guard in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support day-to-day operations through strong customer service and communication.

Minimum Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
  • Prepare clear activity and incident reports, document observations, and relay important information during shift changes and/or to site leadership.
