Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Guard

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or environmental concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to follow site access protocols for restricted or controlled areas.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures as directed, provide clear communication during changing conditions, and assist with traffic, gate, and/or perimeter control when needed.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Strong communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of chemical and petrochemical industry security protocols.
