What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing and reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Maintain visitor and contractor entry records and report access-control discrepancies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
