About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Oldsmar, FL. This is a driving post where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining professional interactions with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.07 / hour

• Day shift: Monday–Thursday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
