About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Driver with an active clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem-solving, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access concerns, and potential hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- A guard card or license (preferred).
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Pay
$24.33 per hour.
Schedule
- Daytime shifts: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
- Monday and Sunday
