Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Assistance

About the Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Assistance in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while responding to security-related concerns and using innovative tools to support site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts, damaged barriers, or unusual conditions.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Mon, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
