About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Atglen, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time role involves driving and foot patrols, monitoring assigned areas, documenting observations, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. This role requires meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial work areas, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing authorized individuals and escalating access concerns as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.75 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
