About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location in Anchorage, AK. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common spaces, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate property contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.60 / Hour

Schedule

  • Day shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
