About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Oroville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
  • Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at utility locations.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted utility areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
