Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Driver conducting property checks in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation with accurate details, and communicate relevant information to the incoming officer and/or site leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$22.00 / hour

- Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
