Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs while delivering exceptional customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and community rules within the location, assisting with access control practices and addressing routine questions or concerns in a professional manner.
- Support Allied Universal and site protocols by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and communicating clearly with residents, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Supervisory experience is required.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
