About the Role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech-focused location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and sharing updates with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify conditions that need attention.
- Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and delivery activity while following post instructions, verifying credentials when required, and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
