About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. This is a part-time position based in Easton, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd management, loss prevention support, and emergency evacuation procedures as directed by site policies and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
