About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle entry and exit activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

$15.24 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
