About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lufkin, TX. This position requires a DoD Secret Clearance and is available on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence, follow unarmed post orders, assist with incident reporting, visitor direction, and other assigned security-related duties.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

DayTime, Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
