As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol - Clearance Required in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of authorized visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activities, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.33 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime, Tuesday to Friday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
