About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and security-related operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and support site protocols for authorized entry, deliveries, and contractor access.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$25.00 / hour
Schedule
- Part-time
- Daytime: Tuesday and Wednesday, 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
