Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will support a dynamic food and beverage manufacturing location in Macon, MO. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site policies.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and reporting maintenance, facility, and security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Friday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
