Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem-solving, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Daytime, Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
