Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Eastvale, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific entry and visitor-management procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, irregular conditions, and other security-related activities through clear and accurate reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
