Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor credentials, and support badge, sign-in, and/or escort procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, noting security-related conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and post duties.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
