Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional supporting a dynamic government location focused on education. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, students, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public sector location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor direction and/or entry procedures, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site protocols.
• Support daily operations during arrival, dismissal, events, and/or after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders for assigned areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
