Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol Security Officer in Leesburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This driving position includes using a company vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while working with a reliable, innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a government residential care location.
• Respond to incidents, resident-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and shift-report documentation.
• Support a respectful, professional environment while interacting with older adults and individuals who may require additional assistance or accommodation.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pay

$16.75 per hour.

Schedule

• Full-time, daytime shifts.
• Monday – Friday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM.
