About the role
As an Unarmed Mobile Driver Patrol Security Officer in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support compliance with location rules, restricted areas, and posted procedures.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports on incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues, and relay important information during shift changes to help support continuity of operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Pay
$18.63 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
