Security Officer Unarmed Loss Prevention Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a luxury retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter spaces, noting conditions that may need attention.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or disruptive behavior through visible presence, attentive monitoring, and timely reporting of suspicious activity.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with visitor and/or vendor access, and help maintain order during busy shopping periods or special events.

Requirements

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
