Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer Driver Patrol in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. This part-time, driving post requires a valid driver’s license and involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare technology location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and adherence to site entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$18.55 / hour

Schedule

• Part-time
• Day shifts: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays
