About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies while following Allied Universal and client site policies.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.00 / Hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 02:30 PM - 07:15 PM
  • Thursday: 02:30 PM - 07:15 PM
  • Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:45 PM
  • Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:45 PM
