Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
• Support operations by observing trailer yards, loading docks, and high-traffic areas for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
