Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Assist with documenting incidents, completing required reports, and relaying important information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred Skills
- Alarm panel experience
- Access control and/or badge experience
- CPR certification
- Customer service experience
- A guard card and/or license
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour
Schedule: Daytime, Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
