About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Investigation in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This is a part-time position where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. At a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, assisting with visitor direction and reporting irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

$16.30 / Hour

- Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
