Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Investigation

About the Role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Investigation Security Officer in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
