Security Officer Unarmed Access Badge Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity in accordance with post orders, documenting security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
• Support Allied Universal protocols by providing visible patrol presence, assisting with directional inquiries, and following established procedures for alarms, restricted areas, and/or after-hours access.

Requirements

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
