Security Officer TWIC Access Coordinator

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations through routine patrols, visible presence, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer, gate, and yard activity, documenting irregularities, and communicating security-related information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC card.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
