Security Officer Access Coordinator
About the role
As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Three Rivers, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, vendors, and/or contractors, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points at a chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document access-related activity according to post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by observing people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location and reporting suspicious or policy-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, checkpoints, and perimeter locations as directed, noting hazards, operational issues, and/or security-related concerns.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
