Security Officer Access Coordinator

About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use technology to document activity, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
- Screen incoming deliveries, vendor personnel, and contractor access as directed, and coordinate with site contacts regarding authorized arrivals and departures.
- Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.94 / hour

- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
