Security Officer Truck Gate Weekends Evenings

About the Role

As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location in New Holland, PA, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to alarm panel activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support routine patrols to help deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct approved individuals and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.

Pay

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
