What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location, trailers, docks, and other restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones, noting unusual activity and supporting security-related operations throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
