Security Officer - The Queen Casino Baton Rouge

Responsibilities

• Always remain alert for burglaries, prowlers, vandalism, trespassers, removal of casino property without proper authorization, and any additional suspicious activity.
• Absorb, report, and take action as directed by the supervisor or above with respect to all suspicious, unusual situations.
• Respond to and assist in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.
• Answer all calls promptly and professionally.
• Respond to all disturbances in order to deescalate the incident.
• Must make sound judgment when interacting with Team members and guests.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Be aware of and handle guest opportunities to ensure overall guest satisfaction in accordance with QCE’s Service PACK.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Investigate and prepare written reports on incidents/medicals that occur during the shift in a timely manner. Document all incidents and property damage as directed.
• Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive work atmosphere.
• Assist other Security Officers as needed.
• Assist valet parking attendants in controlling traffic when necessary or parking vehicles.
• Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

$14.00 per Hour
