Security Officer T3 Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location in Omaha, NE, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff while reporting security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and tenant spaces as assigned to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, responding to questions, and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

$20.50 / Hour

• Monday: 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Saturday: 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sunday: 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM
