Security Officer - Swing Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
