Job Description

As a Security Officer - Swing Shift in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions only.
