Security Officer - Supervisor - Daily pay

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer to serve as a Shift Supervisor. This role focuses on leadership, team management, and problem-solving while building meaningful connections with visitors and team members. You will lead by example, bring ideas and solutions to clients, and engage with your team.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Scheduling: ensuring all posts remain covered
• Communicating with your manager

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• PPSB license required
• CPR required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• You have a state license if required

Pay & Schedule

• Site Location: Durham, NC
• Shift: Wednesday/Thursday, 10pm - 6am
• Competitive hourly wage of $19.65/hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
